We are 100% donation and volunteer based. The shelter is the first and only no-kill shelter in Waller County. The shelter Facebook page began as a lost and found pets page for the city- the founder would post photos of lost dogs while on patrol. After City Councils approval- The officer was allowed to renovate the old county jail and it is now used to house dogs from the city pound. When a dog hits their euthanasia date in the pound, this shelter will pull the dog and vaccinate him/her and place the dog up for adoption. The dogs are spayed/neutered at a discount after adoption.
